Cradle Mountain wilderness Village
OUR STORY
The Property was built by the Kriticos Group in 2000 and is situated in the temperate rainforest of Cradle Valley on the edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania. It offers a range of self-contained chalet accommodation to suit both couples and families looking for the perfect getaway. Whether it be exploring the National Park and native wildlife or sitting back and enjoying a glass of Tasmanian wine whilst immersing yourself in the natural surrounds, we offer the best of both worlds. Our community enjoys the feel and access this unique property provides, far from the ever encroaching world of technology.
A feature we have encouraged is the non-sterilised feel that some hotels emit. The small touches we offer – having fresh coffee and treats available, local wildlife on your back doorstep, or a list of recommended local attractions that only a real local would know – make a big difference. We hope it shows we care and have invested in your stay and experience. The staff build this relationship of trust from the moment the guest arrives, and it is one that they reciprocate. It takes time to build, but the outcome is worth it for all.

“Hospitality can mean many things, but for me, it means being truly caring, trusting and investing in guests and my team.”
